“David Bowie meets David Sedaris with a bit of Sid Vicious sprinkled on top.”

Self-described “Rocker, Writer & Last Romantic on Earth,” Jeffrey Phillip is a lifelong musician, having played in bands both big and small for over 30 years, as well as stints working in the record industry. He has also led an improbable dual life as a writer and music journalist.

He is the author of the books Post-Punk Road Show, Rock ‘N’ Roll Zero: A Magical Life in the Margins of Music, its companion, Singles & Rarities, and the forthcoming Her Voice Remains: Eternally (with Danielle Noire). Jeffrey has also published over 100 articles and essays centered on music, cultural criticism, books, and personal finance. From Los Angeles, he is now based in the Washington countryside but is probably on a plane to somewhere super-cool right now.

Fates on Fire is an independent publishing LLC dedicated to supporting writers and other artists, bringing new forms of beauty to life. The business is not for profit; any proceeds generated from sales are exclusively used to fund future projects.
