WHO THE HELL IS MR. FATE?
Mr. Fate retired in his 40s to become a self-styled “FIRE Aethernaut” and is the founder of Fates On Fire, a long-term project focused on exploring the magic of financial independence that aspires to go beyond the usual “how to” and address the “who and why” of FI and early retirement.
After walking away from a career as a Fortune 500 executive, Mr. Fate now focuses on bringing a new twist to all things FI, as well as his other pursuits including cat butler, social entrepreneur, writer, rock n’ roller, outdoorsman, reader & mad hot dog creator.

“Fates On Fire may be considered esoteric by some, but while there is a ton of great information on how to, technically and mechanically, become financially independent, there is very little on exploring the “Okay, so now what?” side of things in the post-FIRE landscape. For me, this is where the magic really is. I think it is a huge part of the equation that deserves more attention. Fates On Fire is about exploring the potential of the financially free individual – the possibilities and impact beyond ourselves. What would we risk? What and who could we become?
